The maker states the heel height. We give no health effect for any height.

The maker's number

The heel height on a listing is the maker's statement. Part 24 says it is "unfair or deceptive to misrepresent" the size of an industry product, among other aspects.

Platform and low heel

Listings also use platform and low heel. We do not define them. The listing gives the heights.

Measuring

We do not give a measuring method. Ask the maker how it measures heel height.

No health effects

We do not say any heel height is comfortable, healthy, or right for you. Makers' size charts vary; check the maker's chart and return policy. If you have foot pain or a foot or health condition, talk to your doctor or a podiatrist.
