Toe names

Listings use generic names such as pointed toe, almond toe, round toe, and peep toe for the front of a pump. We do not define them. The maker's photos and description show a given shoe.

The listing is the source

The maker's listing and photos show the toe of a given shoe. Part 24 says it is "unfair or deceptive to misrepresent" the construction of an industry product, among other aspects.

Fit

Makers' size charts vary; check the maker's chart and return policy. We do not say any toe shape fits a foot type.

What we do not do

We do not name designers, signature styles, or look-alikes.

This is general information, not legal or medical advice.
